We have been doing so much each day, and getting in about 9 or 10pm that we are tired. But there is so much to do we don’t want to miss anything. So today was extra hard as we were up and out even before the commuters, but it was definitely worth it.

“Where do I even start? On the list of typical Japanese things to do, we seem to have packed nearly all of them into 1 day. And this was all after spending the morning in bed planning our next travel moves and booking things up!” I reflected, as I saw from the corner of my eye, a squatting Japanese man really put effort into lathering up his nuts…

Well they say while travelling you’re going to get a runny butt at least once. So that’s where my morning went. Down the tubes. But it gave us time to plan some of our next trips before popping (read that correctly) a couple Thai imodium to bung me up for the day.

We found a proper grocery shop last night so this morning we made porridge. This was a nice familiar and cheap way to start the day before we walked to the Pokémon Center.

This morning nearly dawned this afternoon as we slept so late, recovering from the travel ordeal we had yesterday. Aimi ventured out alone, leaving me in bed, to find breakfast. She returned and I gave her a crash course in cooking french toast. I was very grateful for the good earl grey tea she found.

The drama is over, but the travels are not. We had our delayed short flight, Kuala Lumpur to Ho Chi Minh. And caught our new long flight with extra legroom (I’m nearly as excited about the legroom as the destination). And now we just have a short hop to reach somewhere Aimi has wanted to go for a VERY long time…
