I had hoped to use some some angle brackets for the lip of the bed where it rests on the opposite counter, but after testing them they were not strong enough. So I gave a steel stock holder a call and they had six meters of 30x30x3mm RSA for £17 which is a bargain. They even cut it to 1.9 meters for me. Not sure what I’m going to do with the remaining 4.1 meters.

DOACC: Sink Cabinets pt.1 – The measuring, the measuring & the cutting

I’m as far as I can go with the bed cabinets so now it’s time to build the sink side of the van. This is one long run of cabinets from front to back but here is a strange metal wobbly bit in the middle of the van. This means I’m going to make it in two sections, starting with the bed end, so at least we have that operational.
